You can even hide in there without a closet. I'm not sure, either Angler can't see you between the pipes or there's just enough distance from Angler. I've survived in there. It's sad that he went through so many rooms and died so stupidly. I don't blame him, but honestly, I was surprised that such a professional didn't know such a simple place.

instead of the insane guy's impossible suggestion, do room 1000, lockerless, lightless, no heals allowed, no sound (deaf mode allowed), outraging eyefest before room 25 (endless glutton for punishment, only use the flash beacon for this, then throw it away), if you get searchlights you have to only go counter clockwise, even if you missed a breaker, in that case if there isnt more counter clockwise breakers you have to go all around, you can not go backwards for rooms meaning if you get an angler just pray that the room you are in or the next rooms have a safespot. you must get 5000 research before 1000, accidentally picking up a lights source means you restart the run. (this is possible, but just as insane) oh and also, damageless which doesnt matter since you dont have heals, so yeah. also, no revives whatsoever, even if death angel says bye bye
