Well, I ordered this fig and got a bad one! The right arm shoulder joint was stuck bad!! I ran the joint under warm water, tried to push the ball peg, it wouldn't move. I decided to try using a blow dryer.. I tried it several times and it still wouldn't move. I heated it in boiling water multiple times and then ran it under cold water and pushed really hard on the ball peg. Pushed so hard I figured it may snap.. It still wouldn't move or snap!! The plastic is very strong, I can assure you! I did something else as a last resort. I decided to dab some finger nail polish remover into the joint.. It still didn't break loose!! I soaked it in the polish remover!! It still wouldn't move! Lol, I gave up and returned it to Amazon for an exchange.. Lol the figure looks awesome, I just hope I can get a good one..

This cape is pretty much the same than the BvS Mezco 1:12 Batfleck , so I don’t get the hate against it, it’s a faux-leather cape accurately made and honestly wired capes aren’t always well executed.

Believe it or not a local supermarket. They had a sale around Christmas if I remember correctly. Its an official Mattel release tho, so I'm sure you can still find it on Amazon or something.

Good review. Nobody has complained about any looseness of joints yet so that is very promising.. I love the aesthetic look of the figure but there's still something about it that I don't like but I can't put my finger on it.. Maybe it's the cape or maybe I've been burned one too many times by mafex's brittle plastic ^_^ I don't know.. Looks good tho.

Loose joints are not an issue on mine so far. I can't believe how tight the double jointed knees are this time you have to apply quite the force to make them move which makes it a million times easier to stand it up than usual.

Conspiracy TV that's good to know.. I've got two of the bastards on pre order so my hope was at least one of them will be good, hopefully both 😂 looks really solid tho.. Mafex are putting out some nice figs of late but I'm still always edgy with them 😆

Jay Mattick You’ve got two eh? Just a question did you like the more rounded off look of the cowl from JL where the sides of afflecks face are rounded off by the mask? Or did you like in BvS where the sides of his face were squared off and flat all the way down like they are in the comics? Cause the JL design was more like TDK where his mask is kinda round and I have never thought that look resembled batman from the comics he’s always kinda been a square headed hero to me. So anyway I customized the head sculpts on my figure by sanding down each side of his face on both headsculpts to remove that rounded edge that he’s got and now his cowl looks much better imo. Just repainted with matte black paint. Now it looks like JL Affleck but more accurate to comics Batman. Anyway just an idea for a cool and easy custom you can do since you’ll have an extra figure kickin around. If you prefer square headed Batman the same way I do.

Conspiracy TV hmm if I had to choose I'd would probably pick the Bvs version, I loved that outfit, thought it was perfect for what I imagined batman to look like on film. But there are elements I enjoy on the justice league version like the gauntlets for example, I found they looked more intimidating than the bvs ones. But overall I thought the Justice League suite made Affleck look fat as hell in certain scenes, not sure if that was on purpose and it makes you wander more looking at how slim this figure looks by comparison. Overall I thought the JL movie sucked royal ass 😂 like everything that they did that was good with batman in bvs they appeared to try to unravel in JL.. Didn't like that movie at all lol

David Marrero For any other company it would be weird but this is a common Mafex insensitive to get you to buy the whole line by sharing out different accessories across different figures: extra Harley faces, Jokers straight jacket, krytonite spear, Battle damaged armour head etc...It's actually pretty clever.

J-Asher That's true I would've loved it better if they gave us the option to have other arms and hands without the gaunlets on him even another unmasked head like in the movie where he's in the Batcave sore after Superman bodied him where Woman woman helps him snap his shoulder back in place. Since that would've been more better then having a weapon he didn't use that or give him the parademon gun like Mezco did with their Justice League Batman

this version looks about perfect for me. I liked the color on the BvS and it's overall suit design, but that chest just doesn't look right. This version has fixed that perfectly with a bigger chest and broad shoulders. He looks like a beast. Fortunately I prefer no-wire capes. Plus makes it easier to get in the batmobile. Can't wait for the rest of the line now.

Idk why, but im really not a fan of mafex. Maybe it's the quality control and how the anatomy of the bodies look. Obviously they made a better batman than shf, but shf wins at everything else

When SHF is at the top of their game Mafex can't touch them (SS Harley Quinn) but overall Mafex get's it better than SHF more often.

Truth is they are both retailing at about the same price so its a toss up. You'll definitely get more play ability out of the Mafex but they are equally as nice in terms of looks.

This makes the SHF version look like it was made from MATTEL. Will still go with SHF if the QC is not up to par. It might look good but if it falls apart is not worth it

Thanks! I was waiting for a video review. I agree this one looks better than the SH figuarts....like waaaaay better. I like the headsculpt I do think the jaw does look like Batfleck but I guess I'll have to see it in person. Regarding the cape, yes it's a bummer it doesn't come with wire but it really does look leaps and bounds better than the SH figuarts one and preety realistic. I like it!

Don't worry this figure is slightly overrated anyway. The head sculpts for the Justice League Batsuit design makes Batman's head too rounded. I had to sand the sides of the headsculpts down to make them the sides of his head straight like how it is in the comics.

I think the SHF figure looks better. This figure is way too skinny. JL Batman was beefy, and this one looks a little too skinny. Plus this one is a little too dark. EDIT: after seeing the comparisons, I’ve gotta change my tune a bit. I still do think he’s a little skinny, and and a little too dark, but this figure is better proportioned.

You can position the arms to make it look better. And the JL suit def wasn't as beefy as the BvS one. It still was beefy just not quite as much. This fig is pretty accurate and to scale with how he was in the film.
