Adding a window or a recess to a book cover or a box is a little challenging but can really add another dimension to your project. This video will show you a few ways to deal with the challenge. In addition, you'll see a few ways to embellish the covers of your projects.

Here is a great source for the bookboard, or binder's board, used to construct the boxes and book covers. You can get it in several different thicknesses.

And if you're tired of cutting bookboard by hand (particularly the thicker bookboard used for making boxes and slipcases) this inexpensive guillotine works wonderfully and is a real time and hand-saver. It also makes trimming your textblocks a snap.
