I remember Saving the World. I enjoyed the episode, don't get me wrong, but it brought out one of the things that I feel most could be improved with the Lovely World series: making the Hit The Target episodes feel more connected to the let's play. It's probably hard to balance roleplay with Let's play, but I feel it would improve Lovely World if you added a bit more roleplay. HitTheTarget videos kind of just happen, then nobody thinks about it afterword. Nobody even really thinks about when the next HitTheTarget attack will happen. I'd think after years, Stampy Cat (the character, not the youtuber XD) would finally get the clue that strange occurrences mean that he should start investigating before it has the time to become a problem. Nowadays, I just wanna grab him by the scruff of his neck and say, "seriously, ya dumb cat, get in your head that there is an evil guy constantly setting up traps for you." It's not a huge problem, I very much enjoy Lovely World, but it's something that would be able to make the roleplay and let's play mesh better. Honestly, just having them mention some of these incidents in passing conversation would probably be a huge step in the right direction. Sorry that I wrote so much. It's just a bit of criticism I've had on my mind for a little while. I think though that your doing great! Honestly, take what I say with a grain of salt, I'm still a novice at writing stories XD.
@joeycarrot6 жыл бұрын
I understand what you are saying. The issue is that in a "standard" episode I am really just being me. There are small parts when I am being a character but really it is just me being me, talking to you (the viewer). If the Hit The Target stories were throughout then I would have to sustain being a character throughout. I wouldn't like to do that. I like having special one off episode that people don't know are coming. Then Stampy all but forgets about it.
@lazuligamez35136 жыл бұрын
I understand. My favorite parts have just always been the HitTheTarget episodes, so I guess it's just strange to see them dissolve into nothing afterwords.

This book sounds good. From the comparison with Micky mouse driving a car and then goes into a tree, the first theme I would watch that I would think "okay, that was odd" and then later on in the day I would be like "wait a minute... Why was he driving into a tree? Did he not see it? Why did he have a car? Is he okay now?" And I love things like that! Also, don't lose motivation. I love writing stories but more often than not I lose interest in writing it. Try playing, watching or drawing things to do about the book, it helps me.

Stampy, Here are some quick fire questions 1: Is there going to be several youtubers in it? You don’t have to announce there names though. 2: will it be based in the world of Minecraft? 3: If it is will it only have stuff that’s already in Minecraft or will it have more stuff in it? 4: I know you said you wouldn’t make it a picture book, but will you have tiny little pictures such as a little picture of you fighting a spider in the bottom corner? 5: will the book be based in your lovely world? 6: when do you think it will be published? I know I posted this comment last episode but I wanna know XD
@joeycarrot6 жыл бұрын
I am not talking about characters or the world yet. The book will be illustrated but is not a "picture book". I don't have a publisher but I am hoping to have finished the book by early next year.

Making your story more realistic is a really good idea. That's what'll make you stand out from most authors. Instead of leaving the important details out, you will elaborate on them. I never really thought about that before, but now that you mention it, I like it. I wish more authors would add more information like that. I really wish you luck with this story. I really do hope it goes very far once it comes out! :D

It's very good to present the idea of a moral grey area to your younger views, it teaches them how to think for themselves and not follow someone blindly. It seems like the story is going to follow the classic Hero's Journey formula while also having that goofy and creative Stampy style, but with some mature themes sprinkled in. Sounds amazing! Keep up the good work!

I Once Created A Story When I Was 7 About A Group Of Dogs That Were Vigilantes And Brought Justice To Criminals. I Really Enjoyed Writing It When I Was Young Because I Could Make It An Adventure Story With The Comedy Of A Bunch Of Talking Dogs. When I'm Older, I Want To Go Back To It, And Really Make A Fleshed Out Version Of That. I've Writen Other Things Since I Was 7 But I've Never Loved A Writing As Much As That Concept.

Stampy's book already sounds interesting!!!
@thedayaftertomorrow59506 жыл бұрын
But how would you start a story like that? It sounds really interesting and I really want to do one of those stories but where do you start? And, how do you explain what happened like, the Mickey Mouse example, how would you tell the reader how he does human things or why he has a car etc? And, how does that create a story if it’s answering questions? How do you make these questions into a story long enough to be a book or do you answer multiple? If anyone has any help or tips then they will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
@joeycarrot6 жыл бұрын
If it was that example you would start it by telling the story of Mickey Mouse driving the car into a tree. That was a very basic example. The idea is basically putting logic behind parts of a story that don't normally have logic. Another example could be a musical. Why does everyone start singing? How do they all know the words? Where does the music come from? It is still just the premise though. You need to build the rest of the story around it. Toys come to life when you are not in the room. That is the premise for Toy Story but it's not the story.

Sounds like a really interesting take on a normal standard book. You said it can be enjoyed by everyone, does this mean there will be stuff that even an adult can enjoy?
@joeycarrot6 жыл бұрын
That is the plan. It will be suitable for all ages but not purely aimed for children.
@GavinsBazaar3136 жыл бұрын
@@joeycarrot That is such a relief. I was worried it would just be purely for children, which is also why I stopped watching Lovely World and moved onto your other series such as the Quest and Splatoon videos etc. I'm very looking forward to seeing what you come up with, as the idea of explaining the little things is very good for a story, gives the world more life and the characters less like characters and more like real people/animals you can see. I also love writing stories so to see someone else put details in their books is very good to see! Also you would not believe the biggest smile on my face right now that you've commented, this is the first time!

It’s nice that Stampy is being more responsive to his comment section. It’s funny how I’m starting enjoy the Behind the Scenes more than Lovely World. I still of course like to watch his Lovely World, but you know nothing lasts forever. I do have to agree that Saving the World is the best Hit the Target episode and maybe even the best episode in the Lovely World to some extent. I’m just happy as long as Stampy is enjoying what he’s doing. On a speperate note, the book sounds like it’s coming along nicely. I really can’t wait to buy it eventually and read it. I do have question though. What is the age demographic? Like, how difficult would it be to read for a certain age? Anyways, it sounds like the novel is going to be going to be breaking a few common stereotypical tropes with stereotypical tropes which is definitely might be funny and break a fee 4th walls.

One day he was so tired from work he fell asleep in the car and woke up in a second. The person in front stopped as he fell asleep and Mickey crashed into him. There was so much force that Mickey flew out of the windshield. Mickey ended up dead on the road. AKA The 5 second Mickey episode. Like if you enjoyed.
