Thank you so much for your effort here to actually show us how it's done. So many tutorials skim over it, teach like we know pretty much how to do it already, or don't show the detail of exactly what's happening. By far, this is the best tutorial I've found.

Beautiful! Why not use two needles, one for each color? And a pair of pincers to get the needle out (saves sore fingers..)

Thanks for your comment. Actually, I have been taught to use 2 needles, but after several years of doing Endbands (as a conservator) I found it confusing to use 2 needles (the threads twine over each other) than using only one specially for beginners, and the aim of this tutorial in the first place is to teach the emerging conservators. In the other side, to get the needle out, some times I use forceps (the lower part) you may found it in my other headband video tutorials here.
