Hello. After I finish folding a book, I let it rest closed for a few hours, with the back cover flat on the table, as if I were going to read the book. This allows the stretched-out spine to compress slowly back into place. When I set the book upright after a few hours, the covers stay wherever I place them. Hope this helps. Thank you for watching.
