So glad to have found a fellow book lover from Northern Ireland! I used to work for the Northern Ireland Bureau (British Embassy) in DC and I miss the accent. 🥰

Oh I love that!! So happy to meet you! Yeah our accent is pretty distinct 😂 and there don’t seem to be many of us in this corner of KZbin 💕💕

I also have so many beautiful books in languages I cannot read! Good to know I’m not alone ❤

definitely not! As I say these editions wouldn't be read if they were in English anyway so thats how i'm justifying it 😂💕

Also, those editions of Broadbent's books are so stunning I could cry. That endpaper art!! I can't remember every book I hauled in November, BUT I did pick up some books yesterday since it was payday. I got "The Most Wonderful Crime of the Year," "A Boy Called Christmas" (loved the movie and wanted to read the book), "The Bear and the Nightingale," "Otherworldly" by F.T. Lukens, "Greenglass House," "My Vampire Plus One," and randomly decided to pick up the first two books in the "Realm of Fey" series by Ben Alderson -because I want an m/m romantasy, apparently, and the covers from Angry Robot are stunning.

What a great haul! I've seen so many people talk about "The Most Wonderful Crime of the Year" and saying it was so good! my TBR is so stacked this month but I really want to read it 😂 I recently read "The Bear and the Nightingale" and I really enjoyed it, the pacing is slow at times but overall I thought it was really good. You've now given me some inspo for books to look up as well, I went book shopping the other day and just didnt see much that was calling to me, I think i've put myself in a book buying slump (which probably isnt a bad thing lol) 💕

@@Booksandmoe Honestly, I mainly picked up MWCotY mainly because it combines Christmas and mystery, two of my favorite things. I'm just hoping I end up at least giving it a 3.5. Send that book buying slump my way, please, because there's WAY too many books (mostly older-ish ones) that I want to buy
