Thank you! Not too long and you will be able to hear my thoughts on How to Hang a Witch since it is the group book for the Spring Into Reading Athon. I actually got an ARC of Slayer back in November, so I was able to read it before it came out which was really cool. I read it as part of the Christmas at Hogwarts readathon that G over at Book Roast hosted. I am a huge Buffy fan, so I loved it!

Christina Dodd is a good author, but Close to You is the third book in a series. I know Flowers in the Attic was the first book in the series and I loved it but I can't remember what order the others are in but there are Lifetime movies of all four of them: Flowers in the Attic, Petals on the Winds, If There Be Thorns and Seeds of Yesterday. I have all of the books though and have been meaning to go back and read them.

Thank you for letting me know about Close to You. Being that it is 3rd in the series, I will probably just unhaul it. I plan on starting the Dollanger series in April as a buddy read.

Melanie you must read the Flowers In The Attic series, I have my favorite one of the series here, Garden Of Shadows is about the grandmother, I would read that one first, even tho it wasn't written first. It explains a lot.

I am currently reading Flowers in the Attic as a buddy read with someone. We are going to work our way through the series. :)

@@CompletelyMelanie That's awesome, it is the kind of book that can lead to great discussion. I loved that series. It is one that she actually wrote herself, someone else wrote under her pen name after she died. 1987 to the best of my recollection. She is my second favorite author, right after Stephen King. I would be happy to hear which was your favorite when you are done with the series.

Finally a big book haul that actually has a large amount of books! Lol I've been seeing so many "massive book hauls!" and there's only like 6 books. News flash! That's not a big book haul. lol I've been hearing really good things about Greg Iles' new books but have been super intimidated because of how huge they are. Do you have any books you by him that you would recommend for someone new to his work?

Lol, if you like massive book hauls, then you definitely came to the right place. Most of my book hauls are pretty massive. :p I have acyually just started getting Greg Iles' books and haven't have the chance to read them yet. I want to try them out though since he is a friend of my mom's and all his books are based in the town where I was born.
