The Kushiel series is awesome. Very, very spicy in a good way if you are open to kink. But also a great story, world building and mythology.

Frugal wizard premium hardcover artwork throughout the book is my favorite of the secret project books. Yumi’s cover is my favorite cover of the projects, but I love the sunlit man’s sprayed edges with the color combination

Murtagh was fantastic! The Inheritance cycle has always been some of my favourite reads and Paolini did not disappoint, it was a much darker and reflective return to Alagaesia and I'm here for it. Can't wait to see what he does next

If you're struggling through Harbinger of Justice, at least make it to the 50% mark (where the prologue hooks into the story), because the book gets a lot more confident and well-paced after the first half. The first half is all over the place but the second half is on point. I'm so excited for the sequel!

I recently finished reading Murtagh, and I was so absorbed with the story that it was only as I read the literal last line that it occurred to me I might have to wait 5-8 years for the next one. Great character exploration though, lots of incredible character moments for Murtagh and Thorn

The only ones I've read of these are the Secret Projects- I read all of those as they came out. Yumi was my favorite for cover, art, and story! I plan to read Murtagh soon as well now that I have Christmas money to buy it with. I'm really looking forward to that one because Murtagh was always my favorite character in the Inheritance series.

DELIGHTED about The Witcher Cookbook! (add to cart!) I ABSOLUTELY LOVE fantasy cookbooks. Somehow, this one slipped under my radar. If you haven't tried The Feast of Ice and Fire: The Official Game of Thrones Cookbook and The Elder Scrolls Cookbook by Chelsea Monroe-Cassel, I highly recommend them. She's coming out with another GOT cookbook in 2024 (already preordered it). And I would really enjoy watching you do some fantasy inspired cooking!

Merry Christmas to you as well! :) You'll be seeing A LOT of content on Sunshine Seekers in 2024! We've both been super busy this year so I've had no time to edit videos for that channel, however we've still been filming videos and also have a bunch that need to go up from even before we got married. So we sort of have a huge back log of videos stored up right now haha! But the plan is to get these all edited and posted in the new year so that we're all caught up :D

Sons of Darkness is inspired by Mahabharata which is not a poem but an Indian ancient epic written by a sage Vyasa in 3rd Century BC-4th Century CE
@LukeAdler

True! But calling it a poem is not incorrect, I mean an epic is still a poem. Mahabharata is one of the longest epic poems ever written.

I was at a local second-hand book thrift shop this week and picked up books 1-3 of Wheel of time (beautiful covers) and book one of Joe Abercrombie's first law. Unfortunately, they are in German (I'm German), as I prefer to read the original versions. But I paid 8€ ($9) for the four books combined so I'm quite pleased

I Dnf'd the Mistborn series after 2 books because even though I liked a few characters, I found the story quite slow and mundane. Hence I am not sure if I should go for the stormlight archive?? Please suggest whether it is worth reading in my case.
