All the Sinners Bleed is SUCH a wild ride and I was on the edge of my seat the whole time but I absolutely loved it! One of my proudest reading achievements of 2023 was reading all four of S.A. Cosby's novels, he has such a beautiful way of writing that has grit yet so much heart to it. If you like that one I would HIGHLY recommend Razorblade Tears for more of a revenge type story or Blacktop Wasteland if you want more of a heist-type story!!

That sounds like a great achievement! Do you have a favorite of his? I think Razorblade Tears will be the next one I pick up after All the Sinners Bleed!

All the Sinners Bleed have been on my TBR for a hot minute. I will be reading that work. Right now, I need light and thoughtful before going into some non-fiction . So I selected two Japanese works. The first Before Your Memory Fades and the second book The Cat Who Saved Books. After I enjoy those two my plan is to go with Madness by Antonia Hylton or Escape from Freedom by Erich Fromm. There are several other books you mentioned in this video that I plan to read. But first, I am finally taking your recommendation and will be reading The Helm of Midnight ! I am excited.

Happy 2024 Miss Tori. May your reading take you on a multitude of adventures, meet interesting characters and situations, and have plots which intrigue you. Thriftbooks have us both in chokehold.

Currently reading Helm of Midnight (after putting it off for ages) and having a fantastic time! I can’t put it down 👀 Yesss! The Black Coast is great. It focuses a lot on interpersonal relations, and connections (or lackthereof) between cultures which is something I really appreciated :) When I first read The Only Good Indians I felt a bit it underwhelmed , but the imagery from it has lived in my head rent free ever since. Jones is very good at creating an insidious creepy atmosphere. Very interested to hear your thoughts on it eventually!

oh! I had never heard anyone review an AG Riddle book, but the book Lost in Time popped up in my random Amazon recs and it looked interesting so I got it (involves time travel and dinos) plus the cover was cool (I actually like the paperback one). I just had to put Quantum Radio on my TBR as well, so I'll be reading both. 😄

Omg yes! Riddle’s books pop up so often in the kindle store, and I just never got around to checking them out 🤣 Hopefully Quantum Radio turns out to be a good read!
