your Tolkien set is gorgeous! i've been trying to find a set in those covers for myself to add to my collection - so far, not much luck. secondhand stores are the best! there's six in walking distance from my house, and i know where at least twenty more are, and i just love going around them! i've gotten the majority of my books from them, as well as a few that i never thought i'd find at any of them!

I keep seeing that graphic novel Monstress and dithering back and forth about getting it. The art work is gorgeous and really appeals to me. I'll be interested to see what you will think of the story. I love that book journal as well. Nice big book with lots of space for writing down information about your books. Lucky you getting those signed editions of the Mary E. Pearson and Wendy Higgins books. I'm always so excited when I have the opportunity to add an author signed book to my collection. I actually want to read so many books out of your book haul! The only one I've read (except Two Towers) is The Smell of Other People's Houses and I really recommend this book. It's a very touching, beautiful story (or actually few stories that meet at the end) and I cried reading this. I hope the author writes something else.

I started reading manga recently and I really like it. I’ve been reading the Ten Count series and the Kitchen Princess series and they’re so good. Those are both contemporary mangas but I want to venture into historical and horror mangas too. Also, Last Call at the Nightshade Lounge has been on my radar for a while. I was going to pick it up on Amazon but then I saw it was at Book Outlet. I just haven’t made an order from them yet, but when I do, I’m definitely picking it up.

I adore the Kushiel trilogy but I’m always hesitant to mention It because people are easily offended these days and for some reason think that if you love a book with disturbing or heavy topics/envents that condone those behaviors, which is ridiculous. Anyway, I love it. I also love how you always have books on your channel that I’m not seeing anywhere else. It’s refreshing and opens up my TBR to more genres. 💕

Chelsea, you aren't the only one who I hear do this, but in general, that isn't how we pronounce the Appalachian Mountains. I was born in NC, but for the past 8 1/2 years I have been living in WV, so I have heard the correct pronunciation before, and it is annoying hearing someone mispronounce it.
