Rithmatist is one of my top 5 this year! I work in a high school library and one of our reps brought it in and i took it home before we'd even catalogued it... then proceeded to recommend it to everyone and had to buy another copy... its so great. I hope you like it :)

A couple of weeks ago I was at a dinner party and someone said, "Do people, like, even read books anymore?" and I wanted to crawl up into a ball and cry. Then today I see all these wonderful people talking about how excited they are to read books (including mine!) and it restores my faith in humanity. Thanks all, would love to hear your thoughts on Killing Adonis, and all the other things you're reading!

You're going to suffer but you'll be happy about it when you read Heir of Fire. Sleeper in the Spindle is a twisted Snow White and Sleeping Beauty retelling. I've been wanting to read The Bone Season as well and I'm hoping I will this year.

Philip K Dick is really weird as a writer, but if you can get into it his Sci Fi is really great to read! We had to read Never Let Me Go in high school and it was AWFUL. Though most of the class and the teacher seemed to really enjoy it, a small group of us all agreed that it really dragged and didn't seem to go anywhere (there's an entire chapter dedicated to describing a pencil case). So I'm interested to see what you think of it.

Omg. Emily Rodda. Gaaaaauughlksdf. It's so hard to find someone who appreciates her as much as I do/did. That being said, I don't think I'll reread them (yet), because I'm so worried that my happy memories of those books will be tainted now that I'm not 8 or 9 or 10...or whenever it was that I read them. Also: you will LOVE Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?. It's an amazing book. I have yet to watch Blade Runner, but I've heard good things about it. Anyway, DADoES took me about a day to finish. I'm honestly surprised you haven't read it yet. It's really a fantastic book. A must-read for anybody and everybody.

Oh boy, The Bone Season. I bought it just a while after it came out and was super excited. However, it was one of the worst books I've ever read. I don't like being negative about books and there are only one or two other that I've actually been unable to finish, but I just couldn't do it. The characters all felt very generic, the writing was boring, and scenes between the main character and another one made me incredibly uncomfortable. I'd love to see a review on your thoughts anyhow, maybe you could even change my mind to finish it!

Aww Captive Prince,I've been waiting until the 3rd book comes out so I can marathon them but my Will has slowly over time been weakening!!! *Whispers* Less than a years wait now!!! Lol I look forward to seeing what you think about it :) Killing Adonis seems interesting. On the Never Ending Wishlist it goes. Come on there's a creepy haunted mansion how could I resist. Nice Haul & Happy reading :)
