Family Matters is the only Mistry I have yet to read so I was putting it off but I think I have the exact same copy as you and just hearing that first paragraph made me want to read it!

I've always wondered why Mistry has not published anything after Family Matters. A Fine Balance is one of my favorite novels. I haven't read Family Matters yet.
