This is such a cool category of books! I also love reading books that are about the process of writing, which are semi-related to these

I'm always so intrigued by writing advice books but I've never looked into them since I'm not really a writer! I do like hearing about different writers' routines for getting their work done, though!

I've never even heard of that Orwell book. I'm really curious about it. Funny how the conversation for ebooks is similar to the conversation still going on about audio books. Mark Forsyth is spot on about readers shopping and the pleasures it gives that online shopping cannot and doesn't compare in anyway. Oh! You mentioned so many good books, some I already have on my tbr and one I actually physically own. Would you be interested in buddy reading the Social Life of Books? Have you read I'd Rather Be Reading: The Delights and Dilemmas of the Reading Life by Anne Bogel ? I found it to be a quick, sweet and lovely book, to keep after reading. (I unhaul most of my books). =)

yesss love jen. The Orwell books sounds interesting. Wonder what second hand shops were like compared to now...and what they wer elike price-wise...coz during his time books were more expensive than now relative to how much people earn now. The Social Life of Books sounds fascinating. Don't mind a bit of 18th c. stuff. :) Lol just tagged you in my latest vid. The Idiom Delirium Tag from KD Books.

Also, “The Cat who saved books” by Sosuke Natsukawa is worth reading.

Why have you got a small audience? Why aren’t more people watching??!!
