Wow. I started listening to this gentleman on Sunday 6th October 2019 and haven't been able to stop listening. I have a husband who has had a stroke and a side effect from that is seizures, to date Barrie has had 4 seizures and I know that we are being held by the Lord. I am still very much a baby Christian and I'm in my 60's. So David Pawson all I can say is a very big thank you from the both of us for opening up my mind. I have learnt so much in the last few months with my faith than compared to my time in the Anglican Church in 40 years! You Sir have a lovely voice to listen to. I am still learning to pray and thankfully because of you I am now starting to understand the bible a little at a time. Unfortunately, my husband died 18 months ago. I'm now going deeper in my faith by doing the 'Freedom in Christ,' course.

@@monagay7569Hi there, I will clarify this only once. He did not teach that believing on the death, sacrifice of The Lord Jesus Christ alone for our sins was enough for our salvation. Dave thought salvation was an ongoing process, so therefore he died not believing on the completion of Christs work for him. True, we pay the price for our sins in this world so flee from sin as not to anger God but our salvation is ultimately in Christ Jesus. Therefore Dave wrongly believes that there are believers in Hell. He also maintained wrongly that God gave the land back to the Jews. The bible never suggests that after 2000 years that God gives the land back to them. It suggests in Revelation that the Jews took it back by force to worship the Anti christ in the future. As Christians we must believe that if you have the son, therefore you have the Father in Heaven, Sadly the Jews do not believe this. Please watch Dave Pawson false preacher gospel" for his definition of salvation that contradicts scripture. Its only 30mins long. THX.

I have listened to a few of Dr Michael Heiser’s sermons and liked him but wasn’t quite sure of a few things. In the past couple of weeks Doreen Virtue, who knew Dr Heiser personally and deeply respected him, has done a couple of videos about some of the problems with some of his teachings. If you don’t know Doreen, she was a very prominent New Age teacher in her day and wrote many books before becoming a Christian a few years ago and going through Bible seminary. She is a lovely woman and it would be well worth having a look at her videos about Dr Heiser. Her channel in general is very informative and she always speaks with kindness and great humility.

John David Pawson was the first teacher I listened to as a baby Christian in the 1980s and 90s. How I hungered for the Word ! The Lord led me to Pawson's cassette tapes, and that was my sustenance for decades. Pawson was systematic and structured and exegetical and that helped discipline my reading of the Scriptures. I learned to study the Word. I thank the Lord for leading me to such a faithful, gifted servant.

@@PiggyWiggyO Of course good works ALONE don't save, but love for God will do good works purely as it is a doing of those things that are pleasing in his sight, not even thinking to gain some special favour in the sight of God. It is purely a work and labour of love as written in the New Testament. As 1Cor13 says my works are useless even if I give my body to be burnt if I have not love. If you or anyone even thinks good works are needed to MAINTAIN salvation you're coming from the wrong angle & been listening to the wrong voices.

Due to interpretation, no one will ever agree 100% on every point, but Pawson was a man of God and he was able to reach me with his teachings when others did not because he speaks truth and was lead by God. Period.

Please check out Derek Prince also. If you like the above teachers, you may well also resonate with Derek Prince. You might start with his later sermons. He passed away in 2003. You sure have a great group of teachers already.
