Thank you for the recommendation! I am a new follower from the US. I recently requested that my local library purchase a copy of England Is Mine and I purchased The Kiss through Amazon but it will take a month to get here 🤯 I am so excited for some new reads! As a former high school English teacher I am always looking for books that center around teaching and raising kids.

Oh that’s interesting. I remember the barricades book. Wonder if it’s difficult to get a copy of The Kiss. Nothing to do with this book, but I once had an employee that I had to take disciplinary action against for a data protection breach. She told me that no one had ever spoken to her in this way before and promptly resigned. How could a 20 something have not experienced being wrong? I have so many memories of what would now be considered as inappropriate school trips that I had to giggle. Of course, these were not predatory, but just a part of growing up. Protecting our young is also stopping them from developing emotionally imho. I have no wish to insult anyone, this is just my opinion based on my experience x
