I didn’t love Malibu Rising but I LOVED Daisy Jones & Evelyn Hugo bc of the interview style writing made the characters feel so real to me. I’m so glad I listened along to the audiobook version. ❤

hearing your opinion about Daisy Jones and The Six was very touching. TJR is my favorite author of all time, but Daisy Jones and The Six is my second favorite book ever and definitely my favorite by her. I have such a connection with it. Daisy Jones herself is my favorite book character ever. the TV show is so good so far so I’m very happy to hear that that’s the book that you loved by her. I was saddened to figure out that you don’t like her writing but it’s a win-win that Daisy Jones is the one that you enjoyed! such a good video as always 💓💓

the book that i tell people is my favorite and is my guilty pleasure is “a court of wings and ruin” by sarah j maas. i love reading it over and over again. the characters are absolutely amazing. rhysand! omg he is so cute even if he is immortal. it’s my all time favorite book and it always gets me out of a slump. ilyyyy ❤

Currently reading Daisy Jones & the Six (2nd from her), have been for a while and it's just slow for me. I like it, but I'm not overly connected to the characters. A little because some are selfish or controlling, but probably because of the mostly dialogue writing. I like the idea of the writing, it's not hard to understand. I love music, so there's something for me. I gave her book Maybe In Another Life 4 stars and I bet One True Loves will be more my thing. I also don't love historical, so I may stay away from Seven Husbands.

I"m cracking up we are on the same reading wave!! I enjoyed The Housemaid!! My TBR for March is to wrap up 7HEH, The Housemaid Secrets, and Things We Never Got Over.

To be honest, for me, my absolute favorite books series with all my favorite characters is always going to be the ACOTAR books. It's also going to be a show on Hulu. A book that made me cry would have to be Stepbrother Dearest by Penelope Ward. Two book series that I read that are from genres that I don't typically read but ended up loving would have to be Bet Me by Meg Murray and Phantom's Beauty by Rose La Belle. As for guilty pleasure, hands down, the Lost Kingdom trilogy by L. Rose.

See, I did not like Daisy Jones and the Six, and honestly it was the way it was written, which my fault because I knew that going in. It just made it hard to be immersed in the story for me and truthfully I did like the story (i just didnt like the reading journey). HOWEVER, while reading it I did feel strongly that it would have made such a better show or movie (and thats probably the only time ive ever felt that way about any book), so I don't doubt that this could be a very good book-to-screen adaptation and I might actually watch it 🤔

I absolutely HATE that they changed so many important scenes in the Daisy Jones & The Six show. I am honestly so disappointed with it because the story made so much more sense in the book. I know what they‘re trying to do by making the changes but I still hate it. I don‘t know to completely erase a character out of a book is messed up.
