I think I am going to look for some Crais as well. Brian Lee Durfee loves his books and now with your endorsement, that is good enough for me. I will add him to my ever growing pile to read and see if I can find an extra ten years or so somewhere!😄

😆 I know the feeling buddy! It’s a good and bad problem to have. Crais is good, quick reads. The two mentioned are stand alone novels. I do think k he writes a series too. Haven’t researched him much yet. But he is certainly got my attention.

I thought the 2-minute rule was when food falls on the ground. That's what I've always lived by. Sounds like a decent book.

Greetings, Mr. Kevin!!! Thanks for sharing your thoughts about this book!!! I'm a bit surprised you didn't mention as to where if u agreed or disagreed with my argument of THE TWO MINUTE RULE being a prototype of the movie AMBULENCE with Jake Gyllenhaal. I believe that Crais had the right idea for the book, though I would have executed the ending a little differently. If I were Crais writing this, I would have made Chee the killer of his son to shift the dynamic of the book to the point in the final bank scene where Max finds out and is tempted to want to commit suicide because of that. At the very conclusion, I would have used Katherine Pollard to enter the bank unarmed to professionally convince Max that he doesn't have to end his life. For me, it was a decent read, but I would have liked it better if he juxtaposed the formula of AMBULENCE with a little of 12 ROUNDS and 12 ROUNDS 2 as well. I really enjoyed that you captured the storyline so in depth, but so briefly as well. Thanks for sharing, Mr. Kevin. Have a great day and great holiday!!!

Hey Professor X. Good to hear from you good sir! I remember you asking about the movie being a sort of copy and wanting my take now that you reminded me. My apologies. I love your idea about Chee being the killer. That would have been an epic alternate ending for sure. I have to agree, how you described this, including Pollard at the end, is pretty ingenious, and would make a more satisfying ending. Is the Two Minute Rule the one that applies to when you drop food on the floor and if you pick it up off the floor within 2 minutes it's okay to eat it ? So if you drop this book on the floor and pick it up within 2 minutes it's okay to read? Another Solid Review! -James & Bella
