For anyone wanting to know the sizing - I had a look in a bookshop at a copy - I think there were six or seven sizes - the largest size is bust 42", waist 34", hip 43". I searched a lot online but couldn't find the information, even on the publisher's website. Big mistake, as I think they will lose sales because of the lack of this crucial bit of information!

I have this book and there are about 6 sizes up to what you said, and for the person who asked the smallest size, the dress lists Size 1 as bust 32", waist 24" hip 33". the book includes information about how to grade but it is not a complete reference. If you're a complete novice (like me) you will probably need extra resources to grade out of the sizes available.

It would be good to know the size range, as others have said. The book looks great, but the size range isn't mentioned by the publisher's standard blurb that is on all the websites where the book is stocked. I'll keep my fingers crossed my local bookshop has a copy in stock so I can have a look. Will let you know if someone doesn't answer before me!

I bought this book and struggled with making the blouse. Tried the trousers and finally binned the fabric and the traced out pattern. Now, 3 years later, I'm looking at the trousers again. The instructions refer to an X marking, which isn't on the pattern sheet, I assume the instructions are not great. Now I have three more years experience, I hope to produce some trousers, but I suspect the proof reading of the pattern sheets was sketchy.

My daughter bought bought me this book for Christmas and I'm just trying (TRYING) to make the blouse. I've been sewing for just over a year, made several tops, two skirts ( one I hated and one I like) and the Chloe coat. This book looks pretty, but I'm really struggling with the blouse instructions/pattern. I would be very leery of sewing anything else from it as the instructions are difficult to understand. Maybe it's aimed at someone with more experience than I have. I'll soldier on and hope it works out, but I'm ot holding my breath...

It's best to take a look at the size chart and compare your measurements to the bust, waist and hips to see which size to select. Hope you have fun making something!

Loved the book but the sizes don’t seem to match. I’ve made a dress and a skirt according to the book measurements and they both came up really big...?

Did you figure out why? I made a toile of the tank in both shapes using spare cotton and some bits I got right and some I didn't, I had to grade the bust down, compared to the waist and that sort of worked but I'm still working on my fitting skills.
