The Wisteria Society was such a surprise hit for me last year!! Absolutely loved it. Her aunt is the worst kind of hypochondriac and always has the most nonsensical + incorrect reasoning to back it up 😂 I was painting the bathroom and listening to it and had to keep shouting at my partner to tell me what chapter I was at because it made me laugh again and I wanted to go back later, lol.

That's so delightful to hear! I love a historical romance with quirky characters, it really subverts the whole stuffy high society thing!

@@lexieslibrary Have you read the Soulless series yet? It's got a similar historical but quirky vibe and I just found the whole thing delightful. (Some of the worst covers in the game, but at least the first book got a general release, illustrated edition that's quite nice)

Elder Race is a good intro to Tchaikovsky! I liked that novella, but I read it after reading some of his more well known (and much chunkier) works, and wished I had read them reversed!

Ah that's good to know! Which of his longer works would you recommend? His backlist terrifies me a bit 😅
