The YT algorithm has only just highlighted your summary (and I thought I'd seen them all!). You have summed up the book perfectly but the reference to Connell going off to New York happens after university as you rightly say but also right at the end of the book. We do not see what happens to Marianne at that point other than to be reassured she has turned the self worth corner (thanks to Connells belated expressions of love indicating to her that she can be worthy of it). Do you have an edition that goes further than mine? I am aware of the Connell and Marianne short story ("At the Clinic") which was a prequel tp NP.

@@_5MintueBooks I would love to see more of videos on fiction books dealing with emotions and the way they navigate it . A suggestion , as far as I have seen I am yet to come across a channnel on you tube dealing with fiction books . This might be a good genre .
