book thrifting cuz it's cheaper than therapy (jk book that appt!)

It's spring break, thank god, so I went thrift shopping for books. Very therapeutic🤌lol so yeah, this is my attempt at vlogging that. btw i do recommend therapy!

i don't know why but I love to buy thrifted books. it's more affordable for me and its environment friendly . They hold so much memories and I know this sounds super weird but I love books with yellow pages it's so pretty . sunkissed books are my favorite ot when people write little notes in there so cute!!

Sounds weird but i love thrifted& old books. The yellow pages, the slightly ugly cracked spines, just when they’re a little damaged. I think it gives them more character, i also think old/thrifted/ damaged, books are soo aesthetic!

Khaled Hosseini is a great author. I read The Kite Runner for school last year and loved it. A Thousand Splendid Suns was even better, in my opinion. :)

I wouldn't buy physical books because how am I going to take them with me if I move and I have, say 100 of them? I don't get rid of books when I read them. I keep them to read them again. That's why I get ebooks, because I can have 1000 of them in my tablet and carry the tablet in my purse.

The books I bought at the local bookstore ranged from $5-$17 depending how used it looked or if it was a brand new copy. All the books I got at Goodwill were $3 I think.

It depends on the therapist but from what I know, each session can range around $100-$200 USD. Although it's a lot, it is worth it and if you have insurance, they can cover either some or all of it. Just to clarify, I actually do recommend therapy instead of shopping lol, it really does help!
