Terrific video, Fred. My Book Trek experience is going well. I've read four novels from the original series in June, so I'd say I've made a dent. While I watched the original series when it was a new show, Star Trek books are new to me. I've enjoyed what I've read so far.

I haven't seen the whole movie but I remember watching some scenes from the Wrath of Khan on youtube. The dude who played Khan delivered a pretty terrific performance.

I haven't quite finished my first novel for this readathon, but I'm enjoying Federation by Judith and Garfield Reeves-Stevens. I love Leah Brahms! I need to check out Genesis Wave. I really enjoyed Avatar 1 and 2.

That's great to hear about the Avatar series. I loved Leah in the show too - she's even better in Genesis Wave Book 1. I don't want to spoil anything, but let's just say she takes command of a ship - _Qapla'_ Leah! :)

2:51 I think that you’ve watched the best two TNG movies at any rate (at least if Generations is the one with Kirk & Picard, the way I remember it being). I generally prefer the shows and books over the movies , though. With all the nonfiction books I’m reading right now, I think I’ll pick up a couple of quick Star Trek re-reads. I think I’ll start with “Ishmael”, and maybe then read “IDIC Epidemic”. Then I can go from there, possibly.

That's great! Happy to hear that you will be joining in on the fun :) Yeah, it's funny - I like the TOS movies more than the tv show, but I definitely like the TNG tv shows more than the TNG movies. Glad to hear I'm not the only one :)

Haven’t watched the movies 😳😱 tsk tsk. Books sound interesting will have to check them out. So far I have read 3 books and watched 3 movies from Original Star Trek. July - books still original Star Trek but started TNG movies. Live long and prosper 🖖

Haven't started on Book Trek 2024. So it is not going well. It is not going at all. I will start soon. I saw the first Star Trek movie when it came out. I liked it, but it wasn't well received. Of the first 4 movies, I liked the 4th best
