I don't follow many of those huge booktubers. I imagine us sitting the opposite sides of a table, with a plate of good food, and a beer, or glass of wine, enjoying discussing books together. That is my BookTube.

I suppose there’s space for both, and if it gets a different demographic into reading, then I can’t complain. We’ll be here when they graduate from “romantasy” to “tatty ‘50s paperbacks”..

Great video mate. I love what you sat about Booktube and you’re absolutely right, people couldn’t be happier about Pat getting so big so quickly. Great selection of books. Hitchhikers is one of my favourite set of books (although the 5th one isn’t as good as the other 4). Hopefully we’ll get to meet in person next year….?

The YT algorithm drives me mad with its wackadoodle recommendations. But, in the case of your channel getting slipped in, it got it right. I've subscribed to you now after having watched a few of your videos back to back. I enjoy booktubers like you that have a true passion for books, without doing lame "look at me!" tricks. (The tricks have the reverse effect on this viewer although the algorithm hasn't caught on to that.) Content is what I'm after, without fad or flash, please. You are quiet-spoken and have thoughtful opinions. I like your comfy understated presentation. So, hello! And thank you. This particular video was so enjoyable I watched it twice. Great job with the tags. And now I'm going to have to definitely give Hitchhiker another chance because you made me laugh out loud when talking about it.
