Your amazing handmade crafting tells a story...you put your whole soul into each piece!!! Love those stickers on the back of the bookcase...only Nik the Booksmith would have thought to include them. Excellent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, a few hours ago I watched you make the retro TV cabinet for your cellphone, and I thought it was the most amazing thing I've ever seen you make. But THIS!!!!😲😲😲 The design and the meticulous attention to detail is beyond my comprehension. I wish I had a tiny fraction of your talent. You never cease to amaze.

Oh how fun! I love a challenge, but truthfully I have so much stuff that (if I knew what I was doing) I could make an entire library worth of bookcases. I save all the things so narrowing down my hoard will be my challenge. This will give me a welcome distraction from homeschooling the young in’s.

If I do this, I want the shelves to fit the wee little books you are going to teach me to make in your upcoming Teachable course (still anxiously awaiting). Can you give me the dimensions of a typical wee book? This will be a lot of effort and I want mine to be cute but functional. Please....please. Already picked out a bookcase I want to create. It has a simple shape and styling but has "glass panes" and sliding doors.

Dear Ms Nik, you are a marvel with card board and glue (when in doubt, glue it out!)! Thank you for yet another inspiring video. So I took you up on the challenge and finished my mini bookcase today. I had so much fun working on it, I thank you for the inspiration. How would a challenge participant enter the challenge so you can take a look at our work? Do we upload a video on our own channel with #nikthebooksmithchallenge? thank you (again) for any insights on that.

Really nice job Nik, the bookcase and the shadow box - you must have the patience of Job. All these tiny things are adorable, but too much of a challenge for my old eyes. Don't put Bill Gates up on too high of a pedestal, cause he doesn't belong there. Take care and God bless you and yours. Sincerely Becky B

Hello Nik! My name is Isaac. I have been an avid fan of yours for a few months now, and i was wondering if i could ask for a but of advice concerning e-commerce. I'll start by explaining my situation, as this will make it easier to understand my business idea. I live in a small town up in the Canadian north, with a population of about 1300 people, and sits on the edge of a giant national park, and the largest mountain (by size, not height) in the world. We also are very close to the Alaskan border via a small international highway. This brings alot of tourism to our small humble town, which local businesses flourish in. Several of these businesses have created themselves a relatively large and active fan base. This is great for them, but I see a possibility that they have largely not invested in. I am, primarily, looking at a fast food style icecream restaurant, and a small (but oh so delicious) bakery. If you would like you can easily find them through Google, "Village bakery Yukon". This brings me to my idea. Neither of these businesses with such a strong fan base, have any merchandise! Well, apart from bamboo travel mugs, which sell once a year it seems. So my idea was to partner up with these businesses and design/create merchandise for them. I was thinking along the lines of sweaters, phone cases, shirts, etc. I would benefit the traffic to my store (not to mention a cut of sales) and they would also make money as well as gain advertising by having the're logo marching around town on a tourist's chest! Now this is all fine and dandy, but I haven't a clue where to start! I was wondering if you could give me your opinion, and then point me in the direction of software/ websites I could use. I have ruled out print on demand due to the prices of products, and I already have a shopify account which I thought I could use as an online storefront. I also thought that with success, I could put some of these products in the bakery as a small physical storefront. Any Ideas? Thank you!!
