My aunt and uncle recently took me on a trip to New York, and surprised me with tickets to book con the Thursday before it happened. Trying to plan everything in in three days was horrifyingly stressful. I only got to attend the first day, and there were a lot of things I wasn’t able to do, but I did get to go to your panel. I was early enough to get a front row seat, and it was so amazing to see you guys in person. Don’t worry, you absolutely did not say anything stupid. Don’t feel bad about being anxious either. I have social anxiety, and I was too scared to even say hello to any of the book tubers I saw. Happens to the best of us. Anyway, I hope your throat feels better. Love from the Midwest!

9:12 I read somewhere that blowing on the pad of your thumb reduces panic/anxiety.I thought it was a complete joke but I tried it and it helps calm me down so much. I used to try and shake it out but I found it made me more nervous and drew more attention which I hated so blowing on my thumb was a helpful subtle, change. I don't know if this actually helps or if it just is in my head but I hope it works for everyone else.

I love this time of the year. Bea&Bookcon have always been a way to bring the community closer, but I feel like with time the ways booktubers are connecting is a bit different, perhaps deeper? It feels like there's more things that bring them together, like music. (I find it incredible that recently SO many booktubers get invested in kpop or at least bts. It's literally two of my favourite worlds coming together and I couldn't be happier). But also I feel like they talk more about the friends they made and their experiences (but also all of you look really tired and I hope you got proper rest). I'm chuntering but point is, I love those videos, they're adorable and bring many good memories and I love seeing people happy. Hope you got a good rest, you deserve it for making all this amazing content
