Sami Zayn challenged Bobby Lashley to an obstacle course challenge. Along with everything else Bobby did the rope climb without using his feet and whipped through the monkey bars! I doubt very many people in the world at his weight and size could do that. He also has the perfect physique! A functional bodybuilder supreme! Only difference is back then he wasn't in a position to force himself out of talking on the Mic. He had to talk on the Mic because they were pushing him to the top spot and Heyman Character Wasn't always his manager. Kinda like Roman Reigns. Reigns was put in many positions to sink or swim on the Mic just so he can get as comfortable as possible(as the designated next top star) but people still called him a dud on the Mic. That's what Lesnar was but Reigns is significantly better than him on the Mic 🎤

I remember being 10 years old and my Mom bought me the last PPV which was The Great American Bash 2007 and the main event was John Cena vs. Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship. I was traumatized by the horrible Khali title run on SmackDown with Edge injured and I wanted Lashley to win on Raw after saving our President at WrestleMania (LOL), being screwed by Vince & Shane and didn’t like the Cena 10-year title runs. Anyway; that match was arguably the greatest PPV main event that year and I remember Lashley’s face after losing and it was always engrained in my memory. I’m so glad that he won and still shocked that he looks literally the EXACT same as he did when I was a child!

I feel like I've been saying this all over the internet, but I really feel like this whole Bobby Lashley becoming WWE champ thing is a bit bitter sweet, as I really believe that Miz made for a great WWE champion headed into 'Mania and really has deserved a 2nd WWE title run! Personally, I feel he deserved at least a month with the title, but the payoff was a fun one this Monday, I just would have had it come a bit later, especially considering this reign was the culmination of his MITB cash-in. On the other hand, I am a fan of Lashley and am happy for him, but taking the title off Miz just kinda sours the whole thing for me, personally.

I definitely believe that the way that Miz was broken into the business, that's why he is so hard grained into treating this business with the respect that he does. Miz isn't my favorite wrestler, but the guy had paid his dues. It's not like the old days, but he paid his modernized dues. From the stories told, the boys in the back absolutely trashed this guy. But, you gotta give him credit, he stuck it out. And now he is in the position that he is. Is he Ric Flair nowadays? No, it's hard to find a talent as good as that. But he worked his ass off to be in his position and that is something that I can respect.

He isnt a natural worker, but the man stuck it out until he could pass as a wrestler. I still dont really like the guy, but he knows his role and does his job without any complaining. He's turned into a great hand. Still don't like him though, and that's okay.

@@herecomesdatrain just as I've said in another reply, you dont have to like someone to respect them. Miz has had a hard time trying to get into this business. I've heard Cornette on Miz and he doesnt neccessary hate the guy, he just doesnt really like him. I'm in the same boat actually, but I dont entirely agree with Cornys perception. As long as miz knows his role and treats the business with respect, much like he is doing now, then I'm all for it. He isnt going to win best worker of the year awards anytime soon, but he knows his job and he can do it effectively. I dont personally like him, but I know that Miz worked hard to be where he is now and I can respect that. Ps, his best work was with Daniel Bryan because he used their personal issues and pushed forward a professional storyline out of it. When you can shoot and use a personal issue to *build* upon a story and incorporate it into a *worked* shoot, then that is when the absolute best programs come from. E.g. Miz with Daniel Bryan, that was personal and they made something out of it. Paul Heyman shooting on Vince McMahon back in the day when the alliance storyline was in full effect, that made the story feel more private and impactful. CM Punk dropping the pipe bomb, THAT was an amazing, GAME changing promo at the time and it was because Punk used his personal feelings and used it to push a professional angle. The trick is not to take anything, from that point forward, personally anymore. Otherwise you will eventually work yourself into a shoot and ruin the magic. It's all about the storytelling and using the psychology to advance the story and create depth.

Booker T be hating on bobby and other black wrestlers. The fact that he stopped speaking to bobby over something that simple really shows booker T's personality. I have never been a fan of booker or his style of wrestling. Booker always takes credit for the success of others.

it's been a long time coming, but Lashley deserves it. just sucks wwe wasted this guy's talent all this time since he came back to wwe, but I guess it's better late than never.
