Awesome video as always! I saw another theory (from a youtube comment somewhere) that Hoyeon could actually be Voluptas (Hedone in Greek mythology) daughter of Cupid ans Psyche, goddess of pleasure. In univers, her parents' love story already happened as proven by the painting, which inspires her to get her share of happiness by breaking the rules. But in the end, her father intervenes and makes Mical fall in love with the girls Hoyeon should have paired him up with in the elevator. Oh, so NewJeans are like guardian angels, that makes sense. NewJeans also reminded me of the Muses with the Greek chorus aspect. It reminded me of Disney's Hercules where the Muses narrate the story at the beginning and also sing about it. Also, Hoyeon is invisible even to Micol which correlates to the part about Eros/Cupid not letting Psyche see him.

in Greek myth, Cupid is described as a really beautiful entity. and Micol is an artisrt, so i think his love is natural. he loves her so much that he makes art for her. i just wonder what happened in the end. like can Tony Leung erase Micol's memory of Hoyeon or something else? i don't think Hoyeon is a Cupid again because she wears casual clothes at the end of the MV

I think he fell for her. Because once she becomes human they are shown bonding by spending time together. It wasn’t like the other two people she made fall in love at the start. But then we see that he falls out of love with her when the other actor (I forgot his name) shows up. It was real love.

At first, I thought Hoyeon was a shadow too, but then I was like wait this reminds me of Psyche and Eros/Cupid. Plus, I've been seeing Psyche and Cupid everywhere for some reason and it was before these music videos came out, it's the same with Le Sserafim. I just kept seeing images of Psyche and Cupid online everywhere. (It's those weird synchronicities I've been having again lol) And I didn't know NewJeans and Le Sserafim would use the story of Psyche and Cupid as part of their concepts. I already knew about the story of Cupid and Psyche. It wasn't because of Fifty Fifty's "Cupid" song and I saw the stuff about Cupid and Psyche before their music came out.

Cupid. 的心里已经产生变化.. 从她在执行第二次任务之前， 在餐厅外时的面部表情表现得很乏味足以证明... 「为何自己每次契合别人相爱#而自己却没人来爱💕」 这也顺便解释了.. 当Ho. 起身执行第二次任务时. NewJ. 第一次的出现.. 然后 Ho. 在下雨前几秒就已经拿了雨伞.. 「注意#这里的拿起雨伞还有其他含义的」 这里足以证明她并非人类.. 以来补充一下.. 给在电梯完成第一次任务之后，还没猜到她身份的观众知道.. 在完成第二次任务后.. 遇见了.. Hyein. 以展现Ho. 的五感再次被触动.. 之后来到画展.. Dani. 的出现..
