Great video Carmine, would love to see a dedicated video of live trades with a break down of thought process/confirmation on entries/exits. Currently I use bookmap on tos just to see levels of liquidity and if buyers/sellers are reloading at certain levels, but I find at times they'll hold for x amount of time and either pull their entire position before it gets filled or they get aggressively taken out. Thanks!

when you see this in the bookmap heatmap its pretty much big players spoofing the market (letting price get to there level and pulling liquidity before it can transact this usually acts as an open door to the other side of that liquidity level)

Great overview and insight. I use the TOS version and have a couple tips, If the current order book (COB) column volume bar has a white line that designates a large order. I use the detach window option and open a separate window with a chart and active trader.

Great video Carmine I'm pretty fluent reading a footprint chart but this still looks overwhelming I'm gonna rewatch & watch your live trading videos with Bookmaps Correct me if I'm wrong but my idea was to use Bookmaps to see where passive orders are sitting & waiting to see how price reacts at those levels on the footprint chart & then check some things on the regular candlestick chart to make a decision. Would that be a viable approach or am I overcomplicating? I've been using a foot print chart for 3 days now but I've been soo tunnel visioned on it that I've overlooked some simple things on a regular chart. Not sure If I'm overwhelming myself with things to keep track of or if I just need more practice. I don't want to overwhelm myself visually & mentally but I thought that could have been a good strategy. I understood how to identify where passive orders are sitting but the other stuff I don't grasp right off the bat. For what I want to use Bookmaps for I don't need to be fully fluent in understanding everything right?

I'm an experienced former commodity options floor trader who had an interesting run with Volume at Bid/Offer data through an unnamed broker and I think you'd find it interesting what I did with that raw data. Send me a message if you want to discuss as I'm looking to do it again but with a more reputable and stable data provider and would be interested in your input/suggestions on how to proceed. That being said, I've also been following the Footprint chart videos/tutorials here on KZbin and I'm really interested in getting more into that along with Bookmaps. Carmine I think with supply and demand book map is very reliable because usually S and D zones are where we find the futures markets largest moves. Naturally it would be very visible in bookmap to also identify these large orders whether they are buy or sell depending on which zone we are in. Would you agree? Anything to add?
