The joy he is experiencing from receiving the text is radiating from his eyes! 😍 I, too, am really appreciating the Hebrew understanding of the text because that's exactly how it needs to read!!! It's amazing and has changed my way of approaching "behold" and "and it came to pass".

The joy is real. And I thank you for listening and receiving. Keep beholding, and great things will come to pass.

I love that you felt a connection to Alma through his words. I have felt the same reading Moroni and from David from the Old Testament. I could feel their soul on the pages of the scriptures as they wrote Gods word. It is a great reminder that we experience that relationship with the prophets as we study the scriptures. Thank you Rabbi Joe for another great message.

How easy it is to think I'm doing good I don't need to pray, read scriptures, go to church. I personally can't afford to miss anymore even if it's a simple prayer today.

Thank you for your insights. The importance of living in faith and not dwindling in belief touched me today. That and the idea of Alma, being a friend was not with us as a physical being but that his influence was increased on a soulful level. What an impact the scriptures can be on us as we study and feel the Spirit testify of the truth. A friend of mine that was a Rabbi passed away a few years ago and I enjoyed our conversations.

Your enthusiasm is inspiring!!! Have you read My Grandfather’s Blessings by Rachel Naomi Remen? Rachel is Jewish but also shared wisdom from all religions. That is my favorite book next to Scripture. She uses a story from the Book of Mormon on page 375. I only wish these were longer!

The Book of Mormon is the word of God. It was translated by the will and power of God. It is another testament of Jesus Christ who is who led Israel through the desert, then known as Jehovah. He was killed by his own people, the jews, was resurrected and rose again on the trird day. He is our Saviour and Redeemer .He restored His Church again on the 6th of April 1830; the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints; the one and only true Church on the face of this earth.
