I never thought about how it might be awkward to be teaching to a camera because it always feels like you are teaching directly to me. Thank you for being willing to take on this job, I'm sure it takes a lot of your time.

Everything in today's lesson, was everything I was struggling with! I don't watch your channel, but I believe I was prompted to watch this video. EVERYTHING you talked about in this lesson was all the answers I was looking for. I have to rewatch this episode to make sure I didn't miss anything 😊! Thank you Jesus...and thank you for explaining things in detail that I can plainly understand! Everything just hit home for me! God bless!

If it helps… Sometimes the things we miss are things we don’t need at the time but will learn another time. I’ve been listening to other channels including Tyler for almost 4 years. I’ve learned to just soak what I can and then dive in to the scriptures when I have time and let the spirit do his thing🤷🏽‍♂️

Your explanation of Christ being the Father made perfect sense to me. I had never understood it but because of how you explained it, I understand it after the 35 years of being a member of the church. Thank you so much.

When you began talking about Chapter 5, I became so happy because before you suggested how the sealed portions and not touching them could apply to us, I realized how it applied to me. It took me back many years ago when I’d decided to write down every question/doubt I had while reading the Book of Mormon and referred back to the list often, until I received a very clear impression that it wasn’t the right thing for me to do. When the time was right I’d understand what I was ready to understand. What I did learn to do was talk to the Lord when I had an issue and tell Him that I’d be very happy to understand whenever He chose to make it known to me., Until then, I’d just keep my doubts between me and Him. I have learned to love the Book of Mormon more than ever.

Thank you very much, Brother Tyler. I am learning so much from your teachings. I thank Heavenly Father for your channel and all the presenters on Scriptures Central. I feel the Spirit when I listen to Scripture Central. I'm also inspired by the idea that the Brother of Jared get to work, even though he only originally received an answer to one of his 3 questions, instead of demanding more. I will try to apply that in my life, move forward with faith on the information I received. Thank you!

I was in Curitiba for one day in 1973, bringing goodies to a friend’s brother who was serving there. I was living in Niteroi the summer of 1973. I was blessed to be able to attend a youth conference Rio that was directed by the Martins. To be in their presence was truly heavenly., That was the summer when we were told that the Church had authorized leaders in Brasil to identify possible sites for a temple.

I have been guilty of discounting the Book of Ether as a "side note" or "interruption" in the past. Thanks to you (and Sister Wilson and Brother Welch) I have an entirely different perspective.

Ether 3:15 says, "And never have I showed myself unto man whom I have created, for never has man believed in me as thou hast". Was the brother of Jared greater in faith than Adam, Enoch, and Noah?

The book of Mormon as we have it today(not including the sealed portion)is in fact a blueprint for the sealed portion but primarily a blueprint for the panoramic vision of the brother of Jared. Inother words reading and studying the BofM is in a sense a reading and study of the writings/vision of the brother of Jared. That's why Mormon chose specific writings from all the records he had available. The records he included and compiled were analogous to what the brother of Jared saw. I believe the writings of the brother of Jared were available/accessible to the Nephites after Christ visit to the Americas. This will no doubt foreshadow a future time when the writings of the brother of Jared will be available/accessible to the saints in the millennium.

I am so thankful for certain clarifications and especially your time to give insights. Regarding Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I have always had a distinct and separate relationship with Heavenly Father. And a totally different relationship with Jesus Christ. In fact, it has made me feel a bit guilty because I feel and have Always felt closer with Heavenly Father . Jesus Christ. I know He is our Savior , redeemer; only Jesus has atoned for MY sins. . They are 2 personages as they revealed to Joseph Smith. In our Pre-mortal life Heavenly Father sent His son. I just feel they are 2 different personalities with the same celestial goal for us.

We also need to know when it offer ideas to the Lord (like the stones to be touched by Him) and when it’s not time (yet) to do so. Many times, I’ve tried to follow Mahonri’s example and present ideas to the Lord and I’ve jumped ahead of the process erroneously and He has to set me back on the slower path, if that makes sense. 😅

The footnote to the "windows" used for Noah's Ark in Genesis 6:16 reads: HEB Tsohar; Some rabbies believe it was a precious stone that shone in the Ark. If this is the case, and the Brother of Jared had this record, God might have been waiting for him to search his scriptures and thereby discover the solution to his problem. Maybe this is where the Brother of Jared got the idea to gather the 16 stones used in the barges.

I like that you talked about becoming the children of Christ. But, you did not tell us how that happens and how we can do that. The baptism of fire and the Holy Ghost is how we receive a remission of our sins and become the children of Christ and take upon us His name (Mosiah 5:5-8). There is a very vague understanding of these doctrines within the church.

Heavenly Father is the father of our spirit bodies and Jesus' spirit body. So He is our Brother. Then, here on earth, when we are "born again," changed through the Atonement of Jesus, we become (symbolically, not literally) children of Christ. See John 3 and Mosiah 5.

Please learn who Jesus really is. Most important thing you learn in your whole life. Come unto Christ. Look unto Christ in every thought. All scriptures testify of Christ. We talk of Christ. We are in Christ, Christ is in the father. Jesus is creator so he can be the savior. Again, learn who Christ is.

This is outrageous! We can opt out from having taxes and even social security taken from our checks, but we are FORCED to pay for Fema and can't opt out. THEN, to have them not serve a section of our population for political differences!?! Regardless of who is in office, this is unexceptible. We don't need Fema, cut the waste in government.
