Hey Jesse, I think you are really great at explaining and recommending books, and you would really reach out to younger kids to promote reading with books that I think we both think they would love to read. I believe that younger kids and our generation would be really grateful to a kind and understand book-tuber like you for spreading the love and respect for reading.

I have a book series for you to read if you haven't yet, you should read *The Testing* series, it's amazing! I have read these books twice since I found out about them and I fell in love automatically! It's more of a futuristic book but in a completely different way. The main characters name is Malencia Vale and she studies really hard while she is in school so she can get into The Testing and go to The Univercity if she passes the test. Turns out, the test is deadly, and only 20 out of (I think) 120 kids will make it out....but what happens to those who fail?
@makaylah_smith5 жыл бұрын
They all sound great!! A book series I would recommend is The Shadow Children by Margaret Peterson Haddix! It's based in the future and families are only allowed to have two kids, but some have three ( and they are called Shadow children because they must live in the shadows). It's every good and I read it really fast because the books are easy reads but it's amazing!!

Okay, you *need* to read the Skulduggery Pleasent series! Its kind of fantasy, mystery, jam-packed with end-of-the-world senarios. 2 recommendations. The chronicles of Narnia are super easy, I started to love reading because of these. The world is beautiful, the characters lovable and frustrating at times (Susan....) and the growth the world has, seeing it in its most beautiful and most horrible moments makes you sad but extremely happy when things get right because you love the land. Also a really short book, Clockwork by Phillip Pullman. It’s creepy, easy to read, it got me out of a reading slump and the story just keeps you on and on. It got me in the edge of the seat even tho its like 110 pages long and it has pictures and the words are huge. Both, the chronicles of Narnia as a whole and clockwork are beautiful books.

I forgot my book at home and had a mini mental break down. "How am I supposed to survive the school day without it?" I wanted my mom to turn around so I could get it but when she did I felt guilty since we were already late. Sometimes I can be so selfish. I feel like a brat. She dropped me off and left me the house key. I had someone pick me up so I could still go to school. This is a problem for me. If I don't have a book I feel like I'm gonna die or something. I'm more attached to a book than my own friends. My mother is so nice but I always get in her way I feel like I'm always ruining something. The book sitting on my lap isn't a book anymore it's just a bundle of guilt and anxiety.
