Books I Love: Anne of Green Gables

I’m Canadian so I grew up with Anne of Green Gables, she’s a national treasure over here. I haven’t read the book since I was a kid but I remember loving it. They have a National Historic Site called Green Gables Heritage Place in PEI. I visited it a few years back and it’s a lovely place, there’s the Green Gables House, they sort of blend the history of L.M. Montgomery with the history of Anne. There are also walking trails and activities, and of course the usual tourist gift shops. It was an interesting experience.
