I'll have to check out the political book. I'm probably an independent voter because I can see pros and cons to both sides, so this has piqued my curiosity! I've heard about the homeschool book. Now to just actually read it when I get it from the library again 😅 I'm currently reading Weapons of Mass Instruction by John Taylor Gatto. Great book about the achool system and how they're dumbing down our society. I've only read the intro and 1st chapter, but there are so many amazing quotes and things already! I also read The Chemist by Stephanie Meyer recently. It took me almost 100 pages to get into it, but once i did it was hard to put down. Just not my normal book topic of choice. Good luck on the surgery! Praying for a speedy recovery!

I have the book I think you're wrong, but haven't read it yet. I think i should pull it out and finally read it. Good reminder on just because we dont homeschool like someone else doesn't mean you're wrong. I have a hard time with that sometimes. Its like I create a fantasy self, but thats not my reality. Sounds nice, but not mine or maybe my kids' personality.
