I'm honestly in awe of how organised your reading is. I just pile books in places they really don't belong and occasionally start reading one if it falls off and hits me.

The Black Prism is amazing! I’m reading the fifth book right now and you will not regret reading that series. I’m intimidated by big books too but honestly that series is so readable and I flew through it quicker than I ever thought I would. And I’m convinced it’s printed on thick paper because it’s only 600-ish pages and I have longer books that are thinner than the Black Prism. So don’t get too intimidated, you will love it!

The Audiobook for 'Way of Kings' is great. It's also one of the big reasons I was able to 'read' the entire story this year. They have two different narrators, so that generally, the chapters are read by narrators who have the same gender and their perspective characters. Which I thought was a nice touch.

The Lightbringer series is one of my favorites of all time. You've got to push through the first half of The Black Prism, and then it gets SO GOOD. The final book just came out too, so it's a completed series! I'm re-reading it now to get ready for The Burning White. 😊😊😊

I'm sure I have said this before, but despite their length, both The Way of Kings and The Black Prism are very easy to get through because the writing style is so readable, and the story is really gripping. I have a passionate hatred of Of Fire and Stars, so I'm interested to know what you think!

Hey Sam!!! Please Read THE BLACK PRISM by Brent Weeks when you can. It’s absolutely amazing! I just read THE BLINDING KNIFE (Book #2) earlier this year and the way Brent Weeks has constructed a unique fantasy world using colors as a magic system was genius and immersive!!! You will love it!!!

I've only read two from this list, Amberlough, and Barbary Station. Amberlough was glitzy, gritty, and quick. Barbary Station was a bit underwhelming for me, but I'm still considering picking up the second book in the series. My own TBR shelf is only nine books. I use a random number generator, and that's how I pick my current read. I've had The Tiger's Daughter on the shelf for about a year, but that's mostly due to sheer dumb luck.

Go for the Sanderson read. It only looks long before you get into it. By the time you're closing in on those last few chapters, you'll be begging for more pages. Plus, its pretty hard to be disappointed by a Sanderson book altogether

Gosh, you're hilarious. I feel like I would justify my TBR list the same way you do, and this video just warmed my little heart right up like I handed it a mug of hot chocolate. Also, your eyes are insanely gorgeous, so congrats on that. I hope you get around to reading these! :D I've got a few of these bad boys on my TBR list, as well, so I feel your pain there. Some of them ARE intimidating. But we'll get there eventually. Your list gave me a few new titles to add to mine, so thanks for that! Have a wonderful day!

My Goodreads TBR has books from then I joined 10 years ago still on the TBR and my physical shelves have some pretty old purchases too so, I'm going to try to be inspired by this. Also, this intimidating books staying on the to read list trend is, very relatable
