Lots of great classics! My favorite classic this year was either Dracula or Mansfield Park.

Oh, Mansfield Park is such a great choice!

I reread Robert Louis Stevenson Treasure Island. This was a copy given to my great uncle by his 8th grade teacher in 1938 for his perfect school attendance for that year. All of this was hand written in the book. Wonderful.

It’s so cool to have books with a personal history like that!

Did you read physical copies of the books? I found some on Project Gutenberg which is very fortunate. They sound super interesting. I own all 9 volumes of Little House and love to re-read them every once in a while as well.

Yes, most of these were physical books. I listened to an audiobook of Kenilworth , and both the Spanish books were ebooks.

I love Little House so much! If I ever find a full time job again, I want a hardcover set.

Hello, Kailey! Thackeray wrote a novel called Rebecca and Rowena. It is a kind of sequel of Ivanhoe, the famous novel wtitten by Walter Scott. Have you ever read that novel? If you read it, what's your opinion?

I’ve never heard of it! Sounds interesting!

Oh, I didn't know Little Women had a Spanish translation! I can understand spoken Spanish. But I've never read it. I would like to change that. My goal is to read the Bible in Spanish. At least, starting with the NT. Alas, I don't think my skill level is quite there. Maybe a beloved childhood favorite would be less emotional pressure. (If that makes sense.)

There are many different translations of classic books into Spanish! I had to hunt around to find a translation that I liked for Little Women.
