I would kill for your book collection ! I love reading but I'm only twelve and can't afford too many books so I mainly read from my library which I visit everyday and can only actually buy the books I like so much that I'd read them again. So I don't own many books but BTW you have amazing taste in books!

Hey, I have a suggestion - either for your bottom shelf or in general -- when things don't "match up" nicely vertically, you can always take a bunch (that somewhat match in size) and just lay them down horizontally on top of each other, and put the stack between other vertically placed books i think it creates a nice variation and also helps organize "messy" shelves :)

I prefer young adult books because they're so much more interesting and easy to get into rather than the few adult books i've read that are boring as shit and take forever to even hint at being interesting!

I agree. Books are meant as a form of entertainment. If you're struggling to get through them because you don't enjoy them, then what's the point?? I don't understand how some books are considered "superior" to others? I've read some classics that were an absolute bore and a chore to get through. If someone wants to read only YA or only fantasy because that's what brings them joy, why shame them for that? There are much worse things someone can be doing than reading a damn "unchallenging" book imo.

Great looking shelves! @ 4:47 you mentioned the look of your shelves. Before you buy the books again, you could try pulling the paperbacks forward inline with the hardbacks. Sure the heights will still be different, but they would look more uniform if that's what you're into :)
