Your organizational skills Ashleigh leave me breathless. I used to be able to achieve this level of logical grouping once, but now it's a matter of stacking books on the floor in odd corners where hopefully no one will trip over them, stacking books horizontally on already overcrowded shelves and wondering the whole time, "Hm, I wonder where that's got to?" Then spending ages trying to find said volume. Cheers !

I'm currently reading Circe because you reccomended it on a video... and I'm loving it! Thanks for the rec so much! I've to find books for people who are really into mythology and folkore, somewhere between "books for academia" and "books for general audience". I'm always interested to see how people organise their bookshelves! For a couple of years I've had mine colour coordinated, but yesterday I split them into read and unread and hopefully it'll help me get through some of my unread books!

So many books! And so many shelves 😭 atm I have two bookshelves and many piles on the floor, so I can’t wait until I can get some more shelves and actually organise them to make them look pretty! I love the idea of having a separate shelf for TBR books and books you’ve read that month. Atm mine just join the floor piles 😂 I really need to read some Sarah J Maas (I feel like there’s enough of her books to get through) and continue with Holly Bourne’s Spinster Club series. What did you think of All the Light We Cannot See? I started it years ago and must have unhauled it, but I’m still vaguely interested in picking it up.

I love bookshelf tours a lot and I loved getting to see your collection! Your classics section and ancient history collections were so lovely to see as well. I love those Circe postcards though! They're so pretty! The Secret History seems to be pretty polarizing honestly. It's so neat that you have a manuscript! I love looking at hardbacks so much but I get frustrated reading them because they're so heavy and large haha. YES Priory! And that ribbon bookmark is gorgeous! Where did you get it from? YES ROBIN HOBB! I am literally known for talking about RotE all the time.It's my brand haha. She's one of my absolute favorites. Also thank you for saying Lord of the Rings isn't a trilogy because it's not. I'm hoping to read more Sanderson soon as well. That owl is stunning. I really need to read Skyward. I'm dying to get to it. There's the HP shelf haha. We all seem to have one in some form or another haha. Crooked Kingdom was my favorite of the Leigh Bardugo books, but honestly if you're not loving it just forget it and do your thing. I loved seeing this Ashleigh.

Great video I know what you mean about getting tired of series..i just couldn't get through Lord of shadows. I'm done wuth the shadow hunter series. I think it's just that I preferred the original characters more.

4:00 Random Danish subscriber here ;) Your pronounciation of “hygge” is quite good. But “lykke” isn’t said like “like-e” sound if that makes sense, it’s more of a darker “oo” sound. I’m really bad at explaining phonetics 😂😂
