Haven't finished the video yet but when you got to the section with your copy of Caste I had to jump down here to ask: As a white woman looking to expand her reading after Wilkerson's book (I read it for a class and we had *amazing* discussions about it, my copy is heavily annotated) do you have recommendations? I have already picked up White Tears Brown Scars and plan to pick up several titles including How to Be an Antiracist and The New Jim Crow, but some of the titles I see on your shelf look interesting too! Edit: You seemed resigned about Children of Blood and Bone; why did you want to get rid of it? Did you just not like the books, or is it about the author? I got the first two books secondhand on recommendation from a couple people on Booktok last year, did something happen?
