I'm Veda (pronounced Vey-duh), a witch, artist, and writer... sometimes. ✨
If you celebrate it, blessed Samhain, witches! I love this time of year and I am planning a few activities and rituals. I would love to document them just a little bit to share with you all, because I have gotten many messages about witchcraft and asking for me to share more of mine.
At the moment, I can share tidbits, but maybe not lengthy information. The reason for this is because I am still getting used to comments and criticism (and hate) from people, and I'm not emotionally/mentally prepared for the backlash of sharing witchcraft. I already get comments saying to save myself and that God is waiting for me to follow him, and it is frustrating.
Hope you understand!
This footage was from a few weeks ago when I decided to endeavor on a little journey of finding some books you recommended to me. Reading is a pensive autumn activity for me, so I wanted to get into the habit again before the gloomy season is over.
x V.

I'm a little bit late to your wonderful channel, but I absolutely love your videos :) now, a big question here, have you read The Secret History, the book that defined dark academia? That would be interesting to hear about in some video, if there isn't already one. In any case, more cozy videos, books and witchy practices would be much appreciated by all your followers, I'm sure 😊

six of crows is the first book of an amazing duology!!! if you like the world, you can read the trilogy that's set several years before the duology in another part of the world, called The Shadow and Bone Trilogy, which is generally shorthanded to the grisha trilogy. and if you like BOTH of those, you can read the series that Leigh is currently publishing, which starts with the book King of Scars. it absolutely does not feel like YA, though the first trilogy does "suffer" some classic/tired (depending on your opinion) tropes. you can also read the lives of saints, which is sort of a book of the lore of that world. this is my favorite series. i highly recommend everything. i love all of it. really, it's great.
@loki594
@loki594 3 жыл бұрын
a note though, if you like the duology and want to continue in the world: i wouldn't read the king of scars duology without first reading the grisha trilogy. the trilogy is, long story short, about a war; six of crows is after the war, telling a not-quite-related story; king of scars tells the story of some of the trilogy's characters coping and finding new adventure after the war.

For Six of Crows, it’s the first book in a duology that follows a trilogy, which is then followed by another duology. Very confusing, I know. 😂 Basically it’s the Grisha trilogy, then the Six of Crows duology, and then the King of Scars duology. I started with Six of Crows first myself, so it is a good starting point. Either way, fantastic series and I love Bardugo’s work.

I wanna add, I saw another comment saying they’re a different story so it doesn’t matter; this is both true and false. The original trilogy is set before Six of Crows, however Six of Crows has events in it that happen because of the events of the Grisha trilogy, and then the King of Scars duology has characters from both in it. It’s all one story, just different characters in different countries.

Six of Crows is the first of a duology so you're all good! There's a trilogy in the same universe that came out prior to Six of Crows but you don't really need to have read them to understand what's going on because the stories are separate :)

Dear reader, if you are holding in your hands the book "Legends of the Phoenix" by A.V.Trehlebov,then in just a moment a magnificent journey awaits you filled with fascinating knowledge about the hidden history of our world and some of the most fascinating societal processes to ever occur. If you have already read a few dozen books on the subject but are still asking yourself the questions "Who am i?" "What is my purpose here?" or "Why do we die?" then this book will become a treasure within your library. If you are still searching for the answers to the age old questions of the origins of life on earth, the origins and evolution of our modern civilization, the origins of different races, the true history of the people on earth, our spiritual growth as humans, or the universal laws of the universe, then this book has come to you at the right time. Through years of scientific study, this non-fiction tractate is written in a simple yet fascinating manner and is suitable for all readers. The phoenix, as in the title of the book, is an ancient Russian symbol symbolizing the rebirth of Russia and the Slavic people. From folk tales it is written that these birds rise from their ashes, are then reborn in a magical flame and appear in a purer form. Since history has always been written by, and for the benefit of the current rulers, disregarding any previous facts or knowledge, we use the experience and heritage of our ancestors which have been laid out in the "Legends of the Phoenix." "Legends of the Phoenix" is devoted to the revival of the ancient, million year old culture and heritage of the Slavic people. The information in this book has deep roots from the Slavic Vedas dating back hundreds of thousands of years with knowledge not yet fully discovered by our modern civilization. Consisting of two parts, the first part "Origin of the Slavic-Aryans" discusses the root origins of the Slavic people, the ancient texts and archaeological monuments, the eon old Slavic ancestry, our beliefs, morals, commandments, and the answers to the mysterious wise tales of the Slavs. The second part called "The Path to Light" discusses the connection and meaning of the Slavic and Hindu Vedas, the stages of the ancient Slavic spiritual belief "Rodoveriye", the meaning of spiritual development, the paths and goals of our ancient societies, the wisdom behind each stage of life and how to get ready for and create virtuous offspring, the nature of divine and demonic entities and their purpose, the importance of understanding your inner self and past lives, the structure of all our energy bodies, the origins of the Vedas, what it means to have a non-dualistic view of the universe, and the secrets of the Golden Path. КНИГА "КОЩУНЫ ФИНИСТА ЯСНО СОКОЛА".("Кощуны" - предания, сказания о былой старине, "Финист Ясный Сокол" - сказочный образ возрождающейся России).Трехлебов А. Hey! I know this comment is old but I wanted to clear your confusion,in case you haven't figured it out already : idk If in every religion, but in christianity witchcrafting and stuff like that (tarot readers,people that talk to spirits etc ) are considered sinners that should be avoided or brought back to the religious path,because those practices are considered devilish." Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live" (Exod 22:18) .This topic has some versets in the Bible ,but I don't know them all. The main idea is,no matter if it's witchcrafting we are talking about or Something else, that by doing those things you believe in the devil or other gods,not The God ,which is considered (by christianity) almost the greatest sin ,so I think that's why people would be mean . Now,IMO ,each to their own . She should post what she wants and feels like,there's no reason to be mean and the people that are aren't that religious either(idk about other religions,but the Bible says that we should be kind to each other and love other people)
