I feel animating mouths and other limbs with symbols is easier with frame picker/keyframe caddy, so you don’t have to constantly keep having to place them down individually.

Characters that stayed the same color with none of their colors becoming monochrome in 0:36, Needle, Nickel, Rockey, Naily, Cloudy, Pillow, and Snowball. Remote doesn't count because of her buttons, Black Hole doesn't count because his multi-colored disc is gone, Bottle doesn't count because of her blueish tint, Eggy doesn't count because her spots were originally yellow, Gaty is a shade of purple so she/he doesn't count, Golfball doesn't count as her dimples have blended in her skin, making her look like Bozo from IDFB.

@folddyy you can find it by searching up "walk cycle" in the library window when you open up any of the source files in Adobe animate and dragging it onto the canvas to use it in your own animation you can either copy and paste it from one file to another, or by opening the library window on your own file, selecting the BFDI source file from the drop-down in the window, and searching for the walk cycle that way

hey booksketball i need your help.. so i once tried to use the bfdi assets for my animation, but theres always this this pop-up message that shows up and says something like: "this asset is an actionscript 2.0 file, you must convert it to an actionscript 3.0 file to... (blah blah blah)...". i never really payed attention to it, so i just went on with it and didnt care about what it said. when i was finished with my animation, i 'saved' it, and the next day i wanted to continue to work on it, but all of a sudden my work was... GONE... i literally spent 3 whole hours working on it and all of it was just *reduced to shavings!* (haha, idfb reference, see what i did there?) so can you please help me fix that situation, it would literally save my LIFE. animating really means a lot to me, and especially when it comes to 2d-animations or object shows. anyways, i am very OBSESSED with your channel, i just love your content and everything, and your tutorials are the definition of *perfection* . nevertheless, keep up the awesome work! i hope you get to a million subs one day and i will hopefully be there to see it happen. -chez P.S: if the pop-up message thing doesnt work, would it be okay if i used your assets (like mouths, bodies, limbs and stuff)? it would also be great but if you dont want to, im totally fine with it. i could watch some tutorials on making assets anyways.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!! as for your issue, i haven't seen something like that before, but if you had auto saving on, try looking in your files for an .fla that should be titled "RECOVER_," open that and when the pop up shows up again, convert the symbols it tells you to. if that doesn't work im sorry :((

draw an arm, and make it into a symbol. when you select it after, there should be a white dot in the center. that's the anchor point. drag it to the end of the arm opposite to the hand, and then tween it in any way you want. that way, the arm will move, but it won't dislocate from the character's "shoulder," ig??
