I mostly took the break up really well because I finally felt like I’d gotten out of a bad situation. There are times where it did upset me though and I can guarantee you with time & leaning on people you love, it DOES get better ❤️❤️❤️ it just takes time to figure out who you are as a newly single person. I think Legendborn is best read by listening to the audiobook and physically reading along with it. I really enjoyed Legendborn because as a black girl living in south her experiences were extremely relatable. You never know how little details such as a character having a similar hair routine or how people in the treat them as a minority really means until some writes a character that really represents you.

that sounds great! 💕i want to read it and was curious - would you say it reads as a younger YA or an older one? i'm interested in trying it, and based on the synopsis, it sounds cool enough to buy, but i'm not sure if i want to own it (and instead read an e-book) if it feels too young for my tastes.

@@I05-e4s I'd say it's good for older YA. It deals with them being in college and there's a decent amount of cursing. There aren't explicit sex cenes like a lot of "YA" has been having lately (honestly I think those books should be labeled new adult) and the author is not shy at details fighting/racism/killing/deaths. People compare it to shadow hunters if that helps. I'm in my late 20's and found it enjoyable!
