Thank you for making me fall in love with Mariana Zapata. You kept talking about her but I was intimidated by the length but she is the “queen of the slow burn!!”

Funny Story is so good and Beach Read. I just put Book Lovers on hold at the library and hopefully read all of her backlist books soon. Bride was so good to read. A Court of Thorns and Roses is such a good series to read. I just got The House In the Cerulean Sea from the library and hoping I am going to like it. Happy reading!

Agreed about Happy Place being her best so far! The way the backstory and present day of their relationships lined up so perfectly at the climax… never read another done quite like that! I can’t wait to read Funny Story.

I start to read Ali Hazelwood because of your videos and I like it. There is so many authors that I can NOT find in Spanish but you recommend I know I will like it.

I haven't read all of Taylor Jenkins Reid's books, but I've enjoyed her earlier books more than her more recent ones. That may change once I read them all. One you didn't mention is her short story that's only available as an e-read, Evidence of the Affair. Loved that one. The e-read cover is great too. I would love a hard copy of it with that cover.

Fourth Wing is great. It is a great intro to Fantasy. Fourth Wing is to Fantasy what The Unhoneymooners is to Romance. I think it blew up as much as it did, honestly, because of the sprayed edges. And then people read it and fell in love and the great reviews started to spread like crazy. I don't know if it's similar everywhere, but we don't have a ton of bookstores around me. If I wanted the "fancy" book with the sprayed edges, I had to order them at a premium price. Fourth Wing was the first book I saw at Walmart that had those pretty edges for a normal price. It also started the trend of making those fancy sprayed edges the norm. Sooooo many books have them now, trying to ride the Fourth Wing wave. They aren't nearly as special anymore now that half the books have them.

I loved The Things We Leave Unfinished by Yarros ❤. Also loved The Wall of W. And The Hating Game!! And the Unhoneymooners!! 😂. Yep girl. We gotta talk! Bummed I couldn’t get into Chloe Brown series. Did not care for the vulgarity. DNF’d.

As someone who is dyslexic, have you ever looked into that for yourself? I don't mean this as an insult.. nothing is shameful about being dyslexic.. you can 100% be an avid reader with mild dyslexia. I only say that because I have noticed some symptoms or clues in you that I see in myself. Inability to pronounce names, word stumbling (and mixing up of words in titles) etc.
