THIS VIDEO IS EVERYTHING I loved all the pictures and the overall originality. Free speech is sooo important... and yet I don't think anyone else has ever touched upon it here on Booktube. To answer your question, I am way too kind for my good - not in a good way, but as in: I feel extremely uncomfortable when I have to share my negative thoughts on a book... ESPECIALLY when I know the author (they follow me on Twitter or something). It was great to get an author's perspective on negative reviews. Thank you for that. Also, I never outright lie, but I may have been a bit too generous a few times. As in: I would have complained about certain things more vociferously. And so on. So honesty is definitely more important for me, but I'm not quite there yet. I am working on it, though, because being dishonest makes me hate myself. I'm an aspiring author, by the way, and I cannot wait to hear your in-depth analyses of books from a writer's perspective.

This video was awesome!! I am like you in that I tend to be kind vs being honest (and I have been burned so many times lol) but now I'm trying to be more honest but in a kind way. I also feel that honesty is more important to me than popularity. With that being said though I like to be liked by other people (I'm guessing almost everyone feels that way). (ps: I you could convince your new alien friends to swing by my place so I can tag along I'd be forever grateful!)
