I've so loved this vlog series! 😍 Shout out to good female doctors!!! I think the book picked was the problem here, lol. I get my book recs from Booktube & people talking on sprints. 😄 Go, Booktube! 🥳 🥇

Just a slight correction: Hildur Knúðsdóttir is from Iceland. The ending dottir is Icelandic whereas dotter is Swedish. Knúðsdóttir means Knúð's daughter. In Iceland and Sweden and I think in some other Nordic countries it's common that the last name is a combination of the father's name and the ending son for male and dottir or Swedish dotter for female. 😊 I have the kindle version of the Night Guest and can't wait to read it. Since I'm a language geek/tutor I might read the original version as well if I can get a copy of it. Great vlog as always. Thank you.❤

Oh yes you're right! I did look into this but forgot to update the vlog about it!! I couldn't get my hands on the physical copy and film on my phone so I couldn't check in the moment. Very interesting information though, thanks! I hope you enjoy the book ☺️

@@bookswithlexie You're welcome. 😊 Once I've finished Knock, Knock Open Wide, I'll read the Night Guest. Btw. I picked up the first book I mentioned thanks to your recommendation. I'm not that many pages in but I'm loving it so far.🥰👍

I'm so glad you didn't choose Gerald's Game because I just feel like you wouldn't enjoy it. I also liked The Night Guest, and I would like some answers/explanations for the ending. It sort of reminded me of Lone Women, but more confusing.
