You should read the Fair Isle Trilogy by Tessonja Odette too! I love her so much, currently reading another one of her books. I haven’t read the fairytale retellings, but they are set in the same world as the Fair Isle Trilogy as far as I know!

I loved the Heart of the Raven Prince. The book is actually part of a sequel series set in the same universe and Prince Franco is also a big part of the original trilogy. I suggest you read the original trilogy which starts with “To Carve a Fae Heart”. You get so much more backstory on the characters which amplifies the choices they make in the sequel series. The series is kind of like the “A court of thrones and roses” series.

The twisted series does get better as it goes on. One of my favorites is king of wrath which is a spin off series she made of these books.

You should really read Cinder by Marissa Meyer. It is also a Cinderella retelling but science fiction (not too difficult to read kind of science fiction). The banter is really good and the rest of the series is found family. Definitely a five star series for me.

No idea HOW you managed to PAUSE the production of this video, then return to it after binge reading the AVOTAR series, but props to you Ali! I've never read such high volumes of books in my entire life, so I can only imagine your level of exhaustion! Feel free to let me know if you would recommend acotar to a person who has NEVER read ANY fantasy before! I am considering reading it, but have never read any fantasy, so I'm not certain if it would be a good starting point, or if I should consider something light. 😊

Just to let u know, when you said that you have never read a Cinderella retelling, the book If the Shoe Fits by Julie Murphy is part of a stand alone trilogy called the Meant to Be novels by three different authors where they take Disney fairytale stories and put a modern romantic twist on them. If the Shoe Fits is based on Cinderella, By the book by Jasmine GuiIllory is beauty and the beast and Kiss the Girl by Zoraida Córdova is the little mermaid retelling (I don’t think this has come out yet). I read the second book id it is AMAZING. You should totally finish the series 😊
