Kerr Lake Crappie fishing in May/How to Catch Crappie at Kerr Lake in Spring/Crappie fishing lures

The Bite was on fire today , fish were biting good ,reacting well . We could hold the lure above the brush and the crappie would move out of the brush and come up and bite .We caught good fish in tree tops on deeper banks . The biggest crappie had spawned out and was holding in 20' of water in the mouth of a creek cove.
