While watching this interview I forgot that Kent is a superstar from my childhood. I felt like I was listening to a friend or family member who speaks what comes to mind and is true to himself. Not a celebrity who has been coached by a press agent to project a certain image. That genuine personality is instilled in his music and that's why it is so relatable. Thank you so much for posting this video. If you ever have an opportunity to speak with Kent again, I would love to send you some questions about specific songs in his catalog and his memories behind writing and creating them. But most important, hearing what he is up to nowadays and what's on his mind. Just like I would ask a friend.

What a fantastic interview. I'm so glad Kent had the strength to do things his own way, and not be forced into the limelight where he wouldn't have been comfortable. For me, one of the appeals of Lobo was the mystery of the artist. Not rammed down your throat and in your face - the music did the talking, and boy, how well it spoke! I liked Phil Gernhard as a producer, but I'm not sure about Lobo being 'an OK singer' - we all know he's got one of the best voices of the last 50 years! Thank you Kent for all the music - looking forward to more.

My sister (10 years older than I) had a 45 of Lobo (Love Me For What I Am & There Ain’t No Way). I was five years old and had a child’s record player. I bet I played both sides of Lobo’s 45 I bet over 1,000 times. Circa 1971. The best of times.

Absolutely Loved 🥰 this interview … it has to be the best interview that I’ve seen of your’s Kent! I’ve played it many times & each time I seem to discover something new from it … ( not that I don’t listen properly the first time, because I do … if you know what I kind of mean ☺️). You make me giggle here & there in the interview with some of your comments 😉 soooo funny 🤣😘 Sending my love to you as always Kent .. look after yourself, stay strong, healthy & safe dear soul … & never forget just how much of an amazing guy you really are ✨💖💫✨

Great great interview. what a great singer song writer and Lobo's music will last forever. I am also impressed that he still follow most of the contemporary great singer like Ed Sherran. He is also ever so humble and I do really appreciate how sincere he is during these interviews and how he had been true to his music all these years
