so this might sound a bit ridiculous but im thinking of going this year it would be my first time and to be honest im nervous it seems like a very intimidating place how is the vibe for newbies

been there the last 3 years and every time the vibe is sick, everyone's real sound and there for the music and a good time. all types of characters there! highly recommended ! only thing is the queuing to get into the festival when it opens is fucking ridiculous, they never seem to improve it

EightBallsHandz z Queuing up in 2011 was treacherous, took fucking hours but it improved vastly in 2012! Last year t'was a pain, still not as bad as 2011. I do think efforts have been made to improve it in the last couple of years :) The queuing isn't as bad as some other festivals I've been to mind!

I loved it this year and the year before. Boomtown is the one thing I wish I could be for the rest of my life! But unfortunately the vibe wasn't the same as 2012.. due to more people/nobheads! And Arcadia was defo in a better area year before, cause it was on a dip and when the flames came out you could see all the people dancing and it was fucking bangin! I still got Boomtown blues, I can't wait for next year. fingers crossed we get that 2012 vibe going on again! Big up Boomtown! xxx
