Great showing this year. I'm still feeling a bit emotional. Amazing line up, awesome new stages, and you sorted out the problems with the security that plagued us last year which not only made chapter 8 feel like the safest Boomtown I have ever attended (and this shows in the huge drop in reported crimes as well), but literally one of the safest festivals I have attended in the last two decades. I must also accolade you for the improvements to Whistlers Green, because every real British festival needs a real green fields even if newbeans to the scene do not understand why. This year you really planted it.

Once again phenomenally spectacular. There are festivals then there's Boomtown. A truly genius line up, a spectacular build and a phenomenal story. I feel privileged to have, once again, been a part of the dystopian vision. We spent ages building a tiny installation in Bario Loco. I tip my hat to the ladies and gents who are the masterminds behind the festival and to all the waifs and strays that make the magic vision happen. Thanks for inviting us back, same time next year!

I went to this festival and I enjoyed this festival if someone were to ask me whether or not they should go to this festival next year I would tell them that I cannot make that decision for them but I am going next year and if that is not enough to convince you then I'm not going to try to convince you because I have my own life to worry about and I cant be worrying about whether or not a stranger on the internet is going to be positively influenced by my opinion on the festival of Boomtown. But no, you should go.

absolutely mental. First festival I've been to in years and so so glad I chose boomtown. The atmosphere was amazing, every member of staff had a smile and you could see a few having a bit of a laugh, which is far better than the standard hardfaced bouncer Honestly I went knowing so little bands/DJs, but with a little help from my friends and a lot of getting (intentionally) lost I discovered a few amazing gems. Ellis Dee and Krome and Time were ridiculous at the Raveyard and that was just a tiny venue, but I think I fell in love with the speakers on the main stages. Goddamn, just...goddamn. Props to the sound crew as well as the musicians, they managed to get it sounding so absolutely crisp and perfect it was unreal.

This video is so good! Makes me pine for Boomtown again, it's now engrained in my being I'm a citizen of the Free State of Boomtown and I see no borders, I welcome all and accept the less fortunate. Boomtown is life, Boomtown is my religion.
